Acknowledgement: 3,000 accident-free days at the La Caridad combined cycle power plant

Mexico

We have achieved the goal of 3,000 days with no disabling accidents (from the time construction started at the plant in 2013 to date) among company and contractor personnel at the La Caridad combined cycle power plant in Sonora (Mexico).

La Caridad power plant is owned by Grupo México, and GPG is responsible for its operation and maintenance service. Since construction started, 5.9 million man hours have been racked up in complete safety. Xavier Garcia de Quevedo, Chairman of Grupo México, and Francisco Zinser Gonzáez, CEO of Grupo México Infrastructure, acknowledged our contribution, example and leadership in achieving this record.

We must recall that La Caridad was awarded the Great Place to Work Certificate in 2021, recognising an organisational culture that has converted the plant into one of the best places to work for professionals specialising in energy sector processes.
