Cabo Leones II wind farm: the first wind turbines reach the port of Huasco (Chile)

The construction of the new Cabo Leones II wind farm, developed by Global Power Generation, continues with the arrival of the first of the five scheduled equipment deliveries. It is a shipment of 50 of the 147 blades which will be installed on the 49 new Siemens Gamesa wind turbines in the project.

GPG signs contract with Senvion to supply 89 turbines in Chile

GPG has signed a contract with Senvion and Grupo Ibereólica Renovables in Huasco (Chile) for the supply of 89 turbines with a total capacity of approximately 204.7 MW.

GPG wins its first power generation contract in Chile

Global Power Generation (GPG) will invest 325 million euros to develop two projects with a mix of clean energies: the 204MW wind farm Cabo Leones II, and a 120MW photovoltaic solar park.
