GPG launches a complete scholarship programme to facilitate access to higher education for young people with limited economic resources from the Quilombola indigenous communities of the region of São João do Piauí (Brazil), where our Sobral I photovoltaic plant operates.
As part of the activities of the Bií Hioxo Wind Farm’s community development area (Laanu Group), a forestation project was carried out with the Año de Juárez Primary School in the Seventh Section neighbourhood of Juchitán, as a way of doing environmental education activities through experiential education.
The activities financed by the Oaxaca-Mexican Wind Energy Association (AMDEE) Reconstruction Fund, which the Bií Hioxo Wind Farm is involved in, saw the launch of the Diploma for the training and accreditation of professional skills for the management of post-traumatic stress at the facilities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec Institute of Higher Studies of (IESIT).
The Regional Government of Victoria in Australia announced the award to GPG of a total 180 MW of power output for the construction of a wind farm located 150 km from the State capital, Melbourne. This is the first inorganic investment by the Naturgy group since the presentation of its strategic plan 2018-2022.
