Naco Nogales combined cycle plant promotes recycling in collaboration with the local community (Agua Prieta, Mexico)

As part of the firm commitment to promoting recycling, the circular economy, and community support, the Naco Nogales combined cycle plant has donated discarded wooden pallets to the Douglas-Prieta association in Agua Prieta. This organization, known for its various community activities, including carpentry, will repurpose the pallets for its projects.

Douglas-Prieta is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the residents of Agua Prieta through educational and skills development programs. Carpentry is one of the areas where community members can learn and refine their skills, creating useful and artistic products from both new and recycled materials.

The donation of wooden pallets not only helps reduce waste but also strengthens community bonds and promotes the development of practical skills among Douglas-Prieta members. By reusing materials that would otherwise be discarded, GPG not only contributes to creating a more sustainable environment but also support the growth and self-sufficiency of the community.

Furthermore, this initiative reflects the commitment to social and environmental responsibility. By donating these materials, GPG promotes recycling and reuse practices that benefit both the environment and the local economy.
