On May 2, staff from the Palamara and La Vega power plants gathered at 10:00 a.m. in the city of La Vega, at Club Enriquillo, for a friendly “Intercentrales” basketball and volleyball match with mixed teams.
The basketball game consisted of four 15-minute quarters, ending with a final score of: Palamara 43 – La Vega 38.
This was followed by a three-set volleyball match, where Palamara defeated La Vega two sets to one.
The games were held as part of the Health and Safety Week at GPG’s power plants in the Dominican Republic and concluded with a friendly gathering.
