GPG Dominican Republic Commemorates the 25th Anniversary of GPLV Under the Motto: “We Reaffirm Our Commitment to You”

From June 11th to 13th, we hosted an unforgettable event at Casa de Campo (La Romana, Dominican Republic) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of GPG’s power plants in the Dominican Republic. It was a gathering full of emotion, gratitude, and forward-thinking vision, where the human team took center stage.

Over the course of three days, nearly 70 colleagues shared unique moments: from a heartfelt welcome in Altos de Chavón to inspiring sessions, meaningful bonding activities, symbolic experiences, and a grand celebration under the Dominican sky. All of it with a clear message: we reaffirm our commitment to those who make it all possible every day.

GPG’s executive team was present to accompany our colleagues in the Dominican Republic at this milestone and to enthusiastically share the challenges and objectives that lie ahead.

One of the most meaningful activities was the keynote speech by Martha Beato, who encouraged reflection on personal growth, well-being, and transformation in today’s workplace. We also took time to look back and remember the early days of the plant, honoring the dedication and effort of everyone who has been part of this journey.

Emotion was present in every word, every glance, and every embrace. Because this was not only a celebration of 25 years of operation, but of 25 years of shared stories, lessons learned, challenges faced, and achievements made as a team.

Francisco Bustío, CEO de GPG:
“This anniversary is the perfect opportunity to recognize the incredible work done over all these years, but also to look forward with excitement. Our commitment remains the same: people.”

Víctor Durango, General Manager for Latin America:

“Generadora Palamara La Vega is not just a key facility for GPG—it represents the passion, dedication, and talent of a team that has grown and evolved alongside the company.
What we experienced during this anniversary reaffirms that we are more united and committed than ever.”

GPG Dominican Republic  would like to thank everyone who made it possible: those who have spent 25 years leaving their mark on Generadora Palamara La Vega, those who have recently joined the team, and those who, even from afar, remain part of this story.

This anniversary was not just a celebration of the past, but a firm look toward the future: we continue to move forward—more united, more aware, and stronger than ever.
