The program is part of Global Power Generation’s Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan, which aims to promote initiatives in areas such as social development, environmental sustainability, education, health, and the arts.
Community organizations, local associations, and non-profit entities are invited to apply with proposals that may include energy efficiency upgrades, cultural events, training programs, equipment purchases, school initiatives, and more.
A committee of seven local representatives, established in August, will be responsible for reviewing applications and selecting the projects to receive funding.
Applications are open until 3 October 2025, with forms available on the project website and at the Jindera Post Office.
