Glenellen solar plant opens applications for its Community Grants Program

During 2025, the Glenellen Solar Plant has launched the first call for its Community Grants Program, with up to $100,000 available to support projects that bring lasting benefits to the Jindera community.

The program is part of Global Power Generation’s Community Engagement and Benefit Sharing Plan, which aims to promote initiatives in areas such as social development, environmental sustainability, education, health, and the arts.

Community organizations, local associations, and non-profit entities are invited to apply with proposals that may include energy efficiency upgrades, cultural events, training programs, equipment purchases, school initiatives, and more.

committee of seven local representatives, established in August, will be responsible for reviewing applications and selecting the projects to receive funding.

Applications are open until 3 October 2025, with forms available on the project website and at the Jindera Post Office.

Through this program, Glenellen and GPGA consolidate their support for the growth and well-being of the local community!
