From the very beginning, GPG’s growth has been made possible thanks to teamwork and collaboration.
To celebrate this milestone, more than 130 colleagues from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Chile, Costa Rica, Panama, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Australia, and Spain gathered in Marbella on October 14, 15, and 16 to share memories, enjoy unique moments, and look toward the future together.
A reunion full of energy and camaraderie…
The celebration began with a welcome dinner, the perfect setting to reconnect after a day of travel and share the first laughs. The Andalusian atmosphere of Cortijo de Cortés — complete with a fair, games, and live shows — sparked a festive spirit that was felt from the very start.

Looking toward the future with enthusiasm
The second day opened with a gospel choir performance to welcome everyone, followed by remarks from Koki, People & Resources Director, who acted as master of ceremonies throughout the event, and Jorge Barredo, Managing Director of Renewable Generation.

“Since our beginnings in 2014, we have woven a network of talent, culture, and commitment that transcends borders, bringing together different nationalities and experiences under a common purpose: to lead sustainable and competitive power generation. This geographic diversity has not only strengthened our presence in key regions across Latin America and Oceania, but has also enriched our way of innovating and adapting to each market, with a flexible approach and a close relationship with the communities where we operate.” — shared Koki in her welcome speech.
Next, we held a roundtable discussion featuring Francisco Bustío (CEO of GPG), Alfonso (CFO of GPG), Pedro Serrano (Managing Director, Australia), and Víctor Durango (Managing Director, Latin America).
In this open and engaging session, participants celebrated the challenges overcome, the achievements reached, and GPG’s vision for the coming years — always recognizing the work of every person who makes up GPG, the true foundation of the company’s success.

“The most valuable part of these ten years isn’t the projects or the numbers — it’s the people who make GPG possible every day. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment.” — reminded us Francisco Bustío.
Afterward, we enjoyed a testimonial video, looking back on key milestones in GPG’s history and sharing professional and personal memories from representatives across all our countries over the past decade.

Solidary Team Building in the Heart of Marbella
In the afternoon, we took part in a team-building activity — a charity scavenger hunt whose proceeds were donated to the Nena Paine Association.
The points earned by the winning team were converted into donations for Los Supercurrantes, an inclusive dining hall in Málaga.
After the activities, we ended the day with a dinner on the hotel rooftop, enjoying more time together.

Recognizing our colleagues
The following day brought a very special moment, when several participants received a pleasant surprise: a series of awards recognizing their effort, commitment, and dedication — values that have made GPG what it is today.
The awardees were: Enrique Pellevaz (Spain), Juan Rodríguez (Australia), Domingo Pérez (Dominican Republic), Yadira Reyes (Mexico), Stenio Fukui (Brazil), Carlos Reyes (Puerto Rico), and Shaq Mohajerani (Australia).

Additionally, on behalf of GPG, a personalized artwork was presented to Francisco Bustío, summarizing his career over the past ten years and including personal touches and shared memories.
“Receiving this recognition fills me with pride and reminds me that GPG wouldn’t be what it is without each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this journey.”— shared Francisco Bustío.

These three days perfectly reflected the closeness, fun, and bonds that unite us.
Thanks to teamwork, we can continue developing projects, overcoming challenges, and looking forward with enthusiasm and energy.
