Dulce Esmeralda Cruz Méndez and Mari Carmen Romero Aguilar, members of the Día Solidario Foundation, have successfully completed their university studies, demonstrating effort, resilience, and strong vocation.
Both young women began their education through the Bachillerato Online Aire Libre program, supported by the Día Solidario Foundation, and have actively participated in GPG Mexico’s Social Management initiatives, developing technical and environmental skills. Their commitment to the cause has also been strengthened through their participation in the Nakú Kayám Camp, where they contribute to conservation and environmental education activities.
Dulce Esmeralda Cruz Méndez
Originally from Práxedis Guerrero, she graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Instituto de Ciencias y Estudios Superiores de Veracruz.
She successfully passed her professional exam and defended her thesis titled “The Importance of Raising Awareness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs.”
“I’m very grateful to my family for believing in me and always supporting me, and to GPG for accompanying me on this journey — to everyone who donates a day’s salary to help university students pursue a better future.”

Mari Carmen Romero Aguilar
Originally from Villamar, Chile Frío, Mari Carmen graduated with a degree in Business Administration and International Trade from the Universidad de la Huasteca Veracruzana.
After completing her degree, she is now preparing for her professional exam, which she plans to take in 2026.
Both stories reflect the impact of the “With Día Solidario, I Go to University” program, which promotes access to higher education as a driver of social change.
