Corporate Responsibility
We set commitments that ensure the well-being of people and their environments
We are committed to building relationships of trust that are stable, solid, and mutually beneficial with our stakeholders.
In 2024, progress was made in adapting the internal regulatory model, taking into account the environment, the evolution of the businesses and corporate governance, as well as the new requirements of the ESRS in environmental, social and governance matters. As a result, the Corporate Responsibility Policy has been replaced by the Statement of Principles and Policies (SPP), which sets out the principles, purpose, values and commitments that guide the company’s activities in order to establish relationships of trust that are stable, solid and mutually beneficial with its stakeholders, contributing to the construction of a sustainable economic model in the regions where it operates.
The commitments established in the SPP are developed through the Code of Ethics (last reviewed and approved in 2024), the Internal Audit Charter (last reviewed and approved in 2023), the Global Policies, and those topic-specific policies that derive from them and require further development.
Our commitments to society
These are 12 commitments to our stakeholders that are cross-cutting and present throughout our entire business process, based on the generation of economic, social and environmental wealth. They are focused on profitability and long-term value creation through the Group’s overall strategy, in an ethical and socially responsible manner, while preserving the environment and biodiversity.

Trust is built on integrity, understood as ethical, honest, responsible and good-faith conduct by everyone working at GPG towards all its stakeholders, including its own employees, customers, suppliers and external partners, shareholders, public and private institutions, and society at large.
Committed to the Human Rights of all individuals it engages with, including employees, in accordance to the principles set out in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Declaration, the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the
OECD Due Diligence Guidance and the European directives and national and international laws governing these principles.
GPG voluntarily commits to being a key player in the energy transition towards a more respectful and decarbonized model, reducing carbon intensity, minimizing negative environmental impacts and integrating biodiversity into its business strategy. All of this is aligned with international frameworks and agreements, as well as the applicable energy policies and environmental regulations in each of the geographies where it operates.
Nothing is more important than the safety, health and well-being of the people, promoting continuous improvement in working conditions of Naturgy’s employees, as well as for partner companies, customers and other stakeholders.
The customer at the center of operations. Through active dialogue, the company provides agile and efficient service that, in addition to meeting legal and profitability requirements, is aligned with customer needs.
It is essential to promote a culture of well-being that provides a suitable, high-quality environment based on respect, equality, diversity, personal and professional development, with fairness and transparency.
Suppliers and partner companies are fundamental players in the optimal functioning of the value chain, with whom the company promotes relationships that are based on trust, stability, solidity and mutual benefit, under principles of transparency and risk management.
Committed to the economic and social development of the regions where it operates, contributing knowledge and management capabilities, and allocating part of its profits to social investment. Ongoing and open dialogue with society makes it possible to understand the expectations and interests of affected groups, being involved in their development.
The trust of stakeholders is built on transparency, understood as ethical, honest, responsible and good-faith communication by everyone who works in and for the company.
Safeguarding assets (human, physical, logical, data, information, financial, brand, identity, image, reputation, intellectual and industrial property) is essential for GPG
and for the continuity of its operations, with particular emphasis on protecting human life and/or critical infrastructure.
Optimizing processes and services, as well as their management and monitoring, as the path to achieve excellence and a fundamental, cross-cutting tool for fulfilling the rest of the commitments undertaken, with special emphasis on the safety, health and well-being of people and affected groups, as well as quality, reliability, competitiveness and financing in all matters related to sustainability.
Value creation and its long-term sustainability are key aspects of the business. For this reason, the company appropriately manages risks and develops a resilient business model.
