In line with the Global Sustainability Policy of the Naturgy Group, GPG presents a robust strategy based on the key principles of Governance and Environmental Management, built around the following essential pillars:
- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and more demanding voluntary requirements.
- Preventing pollution and reducing environmental impacts across the value chain, improving process efficiency to reduce the consumption of natural resources.
- Implementing an externally audited environmental management system certified under the ISO 14001 standard.
- Integrating environmental considerations into strategic decision-making through environmental due diligence processes, prioritizing investment in renewable facilities.
- Promoting transparency to facilitate communication with stakeholders.

All of this is aligned with international frameworks and agreements, as well as with applicable energy and environmental policies and regulations in each of the geographies where it operates.
