From May 20 to 22, the first LATAM Renewable Operations Conference was held — a regional event that brought together representatives from Costa Rica, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, and Spain.
The main objective of this initiative was to promote integration among teams across different countries, fostering collaboration through the exchange of experiences, best practices, and discussions on shared challenges.
The event also aimed to strengthen the relationship with transversal areas, with the participation of teams from Transformation, Procurement, IT and Cybersecurity, Health and Safety, Compliance, and Social Responsibility. Together, we addressed key topics related to operations, as well as the main support services currently in place.
We were also privileged to have keynote speaker Adrián González, who shared valuable tools and insights focused on developing skills, habits, and disciplines essential for both professional and personal success.
The event took place in the natural setting of Valle Escondido in Bajo Boquete, Chiriquí, near the Dolega hydroelectric plant. This beautiful location not only provided an ideal environment for the gathering but also reinforced the team spirit and the staff’s commitment to GPG’s values.
The experience of these days highlighted the strong capabilities and cohesion of the LATAM operations team, reaffirming the importance of creating spaces that foster integration and collective growth.
