GPG Australia awards scholarship to Crookwell student

The Crookwell 2 wind farm Scholarship Prize of 1,770 AUD has been awarded this year to Alyse Culhane from year 12 at Crookwell High School. This Scholarship Prize began in 2014 and is administered by the Upper Lachlan Foundation.

Eligible scholars are selected by the Upper Lachlan Foundation who meet the selection criteria including being born or schooled in the Upper Lachlan Shire area or in the Goulburn Mulwaree Shire area. The scholar must also attend University in the ACT or the Canberra Institute of Technology. Other studies and merit criteria around studying for use in the renewable energy sector, a profession that is useful to the renewable energy sector or for the greater good in towns and cities in rural and regional Australia, apply.

Alyse Culhane will be attending university in Canberra to study a degree in agriculture and business. She has a strong tie to the Crookwell district and enjoys exploring sustainable farming, relying on many renewable energies. Alyse adopted many agricultural and Science Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) based skills at Crookwell High School. 

GPG Australia congratulates Alyse on being the 2022 recipient of the Crookwell 2 wind farm Scholarship Prize, and wishes her well with her studies.
