On July 2, scholarship recipient Jimena Reyes Cruz successfully completed her university studies by presenting her final professional experience exam for a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at the Universidad Veracruzana, Tuxpan campus. Originally from the community of Práxedis Guerrero, km 18, Jimena embodies the spirit of perseverance, effort, and dedication that drives the “Con Día Solidario Voy a la Universidad” scholarship program.
Since her early days at the Telebachillerato Aire Libre km 15, Jimena has been supported by the Día Solidario partners in Mexico and has played an active role in social initiatives through the Social Management area of GPG Tuxpan. Her outstanding involvement in projects such as the Energy School and the Nakú Kayám Turtle Camp further demonstrate her commitment to sustainable development and community well-being.
During her evaluation, Jimena presented a research protocol titled “The Corporate Social Responsibility of CCC Tuxpan III and IV and Its Impact on Beneficiary Communities, Tuxpan, Veracruz. 2024 Case Study”, which was praised by the academic jury for its relevance and innovation.
This significant milestone marks not only the end of her university journey but also the beginning of a new chapter full of possibilities. In Jimena’s words:
