GPG México commemorates International Women’s Day with a space for dialogue and empowerment

Every March 8th, on International Women’s Day, GPG reflects on the progress made in gender equality, highlights the challenges that remain, and reaffirms the commitment to eradicating violence and protecting women’s rights.

In this context, for the second consecutive year, the BiÍ Hioxo wind farm, in coordination with its community center Nacanu’ BiÍ, organized the roundtable discussion Let’s Have a Coffee Together. This year, GPG had the collaboration of psychologist Adriana Herrera Hernández, who led the session on The Meaning of Life and Women’s Empowerment.”

During the talk, the speaker engaged with the attendees, sharing experiences and reflections on their role in society and ways to strengthen their emotional well-being. She also provided key tools to foster women’s empowerment and navigate daily challenges.

The event also featured a dialogue space where participants shared their insights and experiences. These testimonies were recorded to raise awareness of their stories and emphasize the importance of recognizing women in their professional and work environments.

This event promoted three fundamental pillars:

Recognizing the historical struggle of women for their rights.

Celebrating the achievements made in all areas of society.

Promoting empowerment and emotional well-being.
