On May 13, the Hermosillo combined cycle plant welcomed a group of 12 Mechatronics Engineering students from ITSON, Guaymas campus.
During the visit, the employee Rodolfo Coronado gave the students a guided tour through the different areas of the first combined cycle power plant built by GPG in Mexico. This facility, located in Hermosillo, Sonora, began commercial operations on October 1, 2001, and includes a treatment plant that reuses wastewater from the city.
These visits aim to foster innovation, education, and spark curiosity in students toward building a more sustainable industry.
