Reviving one of the traditions typical of power plants in the Dominican Republic, the Palamara plant team gathered to celebrate the completion of the scheduled major maintenance of engine 3 with an outdoor event designed to celebrate, share, connect, and strengthen team unity.

The celebration brought the entire plant team together around the table in a relaxed atmosphere, different from the day‑to‑day routine, with roasted pork as the main dish—a meal traditionally associated with friendship and togetherness in Dominican culture.
The good weather and everyone’s involvement helped create a warm and welcoming space, ideal for exchanging experiences, anecdotes, and good moments among colleagues.

The excellent reception of this activity confirms the value of these types of gatherings as a tool to strengthen internal relationships and continue building a collaborative and close working environment.
Following this celebration in Palamara, the intention is to continue holding these gatherings after major maintenance work is completed. La Vega power plant will be the next to celebrate this event once its upcoming major overhaul is finalized.
In this way, we are able to revive and give continuity to a tradition that plant teams celebrated years ago.
With initiatives like this one, GPG continues to promote shared spaces that foster closeness among teams, strengthen the sense of belonging, and reinforce teamwork as a cornerstone of its corporate culture.
