The CCC Tuxpan organizes a health campaign in collaboration with the Mexican Social Security Institute

With the participation of up to 44 employees, the event held on January 15 by CCC Tuxpan III y IV was dedicated to a series of activities and talks focused on health care and safety for members of the local community.

Throughout the day, several talks were delivered addressing various health aspects, such as nutrition and the risks associated with obesity and overweight. Topics related to mental health were also covered, including stress and violence, as well as information on contraceptive methods.

As part of the efforts to prevent potential illnesses or health conditions, participants were able to have their blood pressure, glucose levels, weight, BMI, and body measurements taken by volunteers, helping them gain a better understanding of their health status.

Participants were also offered the opportunity to receive COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations, making access to medication easier and encouraging greater participation.

In addition, toothbrushes, electrolytes, and contraceptive methods were available for those who wished to take them.

The planning of the content and activities was carried out in collaboration with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and in line with GPG policies:

  • Making health and safety top priorities.

  • Promoting the importance of risk prevention through early disease detection and awareness campaigns.

  • Highlighting corporate responsibility by fostering initiatives that strengthen community relationships and reinforce a culture of prevention.

By the end of the day, this initiative helped raise awareness among participants about the importance of prevention and self-care as a way to anticipate potential risks or illnesses. Practical tools and approaches to improving health and quality of life were also shared, emphasizing the importance of everyday well-being.
