We promote the social transformation and sustainable development in Tuxpan, Mexico

The event was headed by the mayor of Tuxpan, José Manuel Pozos Castro, the community representative of Tuxpan, Beatriz Piña Vergara Francisco José Cerezo Herrera, head of technical control of the combined cycle power plant Tuxpan III and IV, who came on behalf of GPG Mexico to deliver the scholarships.

At the event, we presented the coordinator of the “telebachillerato” with a symbolic cheque representing the total amount of the scholarships for the students to continue their academic training and improve their quality of life.

I will always recognise companies that are socially responsible and committed to education as a cornerstone of progress. I am very pleased that GPG Grupo Naturgy and its association Día Solidario are promoting education and generating a positive social impact in these communities,” said the mayor during his speech.

In addition, the mayor stressed the importance of solidarity, fairness and participation to foster positive and lasting changes in society, and thanked us for collaborating with the municipality on issues such as education, health and care for the environment.
