The project, awarded in 2018 under VRET, began construction works in April of last year and it is expected to start operations soon, The Wind Farm is located 150 kilometres west of Melbourne.
For its construction, 284 million Australian dollars (169 million euros) has been invested and more than 200 jobs have been created. The wind farm is comprised of 43 turbines with a total installed capacity of 180 MW, that will generate 644,000 megawatt hours per year of renewable electricity, equivalent to the consumption of 138,000 households.
