Naco Nogales Combined Cycle Power Plant (Mexico) collaborates in the ‘Let’s paint your education’ programme

Through the Naco Nogales Combined Cycle Power Plant, Naturgy carries out the ‘Let’s paint your education’ programme, aimed at refurbishing the facilities of Technical Secondary School #68 in Agua Prieta (Sonora), by fixing walls and applying paint to provide spaces fit for school activities.

The activity was attended by OLDAP director David Martinez, the Naco Nogales Combined Cycle Plant Resources Manager, Cristina Urrutia, and the Director of Education and Sulture, Jesus Galas. On behalf of the municipal president, they visited the Technical Secondary No. 68, to help them with painting supplies and improving the school’s image.

The school authorities were also present at the event and thanked the company for its initiative and commitment to the school community of Technical Secondary School #68.

The initiative will benefit more than 270 students of the school who will now have suitable spaces for their activities and their classes.

With actions like these, Naturgy, through the Naco Nogales Combined Cycle Power Plant, is fulfilling its corporate social responsibility policies and helping to comply with one of the most important sustainable development goals: quality education.
